Forestry Mulching is a land clearing technique that is essential for removing unwanted brush and trees while enhancing the land, aesthetically and environmentally. A forestry mulcher grinds and chips overgrown, invasive, or dense vegetation into a fine layer of fresh mulch that adds nutrients back into the soil.
Forestry mulching minimizes fire risk, preserves soil health, benefits overall forest ecosystems, and improves property appearance. DS Landwork proudly works with local conservation districts to provide environmentally sound and safe solutions.
We invest in industry-leading equipment to ensure superior, efficient, quality, and beautiful results. Our machinery is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure optimal performance. We take pride in a hands-on approach and work closely with our customers to ensure each project is exceeding exceptions.

We provide forestry mulching land clearing services both for commercial or residential applications. With our forestry mulchers, we can turn acres of trees and brush into beautiful, fine mulch that is prepped for a new build, opened up for a yard, or cleaned up to support newer, healthier growth. All mulched tree stumps are left flush to the ground into fine mulch.

We can offer a more traditional land clearing approach by grub and root rake to produce a clean, buildable site. This allows for roots, rocks, and debris to be dug up while allowing soil to pass through, making it ideal for clearing acres, prepping for landscaping, or removing unwanted vegetation.

We offer ditch bank or fence row land clearing. We utilize an excavator mulcher and tree shear to clear fence rows or ditch banks to improve crop health, and allow better farm equipment access to fields. For farm fields, overhang limbs can be trimmed with a tree shear.

We provide commercial right-of-way clearing. From mowing to forestry mulching we can maintain and clear right-of-ways. We have worked with local gas companies to clear along railroads and steep, difficult terrain.

We are able to create food plots and shooting lanes utilizing our forestry mulching equipment. With our equipment we can create food plots ready to be planted.

We can remove harmful invasive species, such as Buckthorn or Russian Olive, to promote native plant growth. We work with local conservation districts to create plans for invasive brush control.
